Panda Express Is Testing A New Menu Item To Try ASAP

Panda Express, the fast-food chain specializing in Chinese American cuisine, is testing a new menu item that has food lovers excited.

Available exclusively at the Panda Express Innovation Kitchen location in Pasadena, CA, the Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumplings are a collaboration with the popular chili crisp brand Fly By Jing.

The dish features crispy dumplings filled with Wagyu beef that are wok-tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, which is enhanced by Fly By Jing's Zhong sauce.

This sauce is a combination of soy sauce, brown sugar, mushrooms, garlic, and a blend of spices, inspired by the classic Chengdu Street snack, Zhong dumplings.

The sauce is described as having a flavor that is "sweet, tangy, spicy, and umami-rich all at once."

Fly By Jing is the brand behind the beloved spicy chili crisp, a condiment that can be used on a variety of foods. The brand has also recently released a highly-anticipated chili oil, which has been praised by food editors as "liquid gold."

The Spicy Wagyu Beef Dumplings are only available as a test menu item at the Pasadena location from April 21 to June 1.

However, the partnership between Panda Express and Fly By Jing has food lovers hoping that the dumplings will become a permanent addition to the chain's menu nationwide.

If you're in Southern California, now is the perfect time to give these spicy dumplings a try and add some excitement to your meal routine.
