Emma Watson Joins The Realm Of Celebrity Liquor Brands

Emma Watson, well recognized for her portrayal as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" films, is also a feminist activist and campaigner for gender equality worldwide.

Watson now makes booze. She joins Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila, Vera Wang's Party Prosecco, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's the Teremana Tequila, and Snoop Dogg's Indoggo gin in partnering with liquor businesses to develop their own brands.

Watson and her brother Alex, who has industry expertise, are making Renais Gin from grape spirit. The siblings' gin firm follows their father's wine success.

He founded Domaine Watson vineyards and produces award-winning Chablis.

The gin is created using French grape skins and lees, linden blossoms, cubeb berries, acacia honey, and juniper instead of grain. "Gin-making isn't easy. Alex wanted to do something new.

Renais Gin, Emma Watson's new wine-grape-based liquor, is sustainable and distinctive. Solar-powered stills and biodegradable mushroom packaging make it.

"I'm particularly proud of upcycling grapes from vineyards—including my dad's—to reduce waste and create something new," Emma remarked.

Emma and Alex have even come up with new wine-inspired beverages for their new gin. Renais Gin, Chablis, and lemon bitters make a "Terroir Martini" on the website.

Their new gin launch excites the siblings."Renais Gin is our love letter to Chablis; a carbon-neutral product, lovingly made from cycled wine grapes," Emma said on Instagram to announce the new gin.

One Instagrammer said, "Wow! Congratulations to your family company," with clapping and a red heart emoji. Renais Gin may be ordered online for £45 with UK and EU shipping.
