One cocktail duet endures. Since 1907, Americans have sipped the famous mix. Fans will soon be able to buy it in a can.
Coca-Cola will release a countrywide Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD cocktail. Coca-Cola and Coke Zero will be available. The first Coca-Cola canned drink in the U.S.
The Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola RTD's 350 ml cans will feature 5% alcohol by volume, like most beers.
Coca-Cola claims it will debut in Mexico later this year, but it outsources its other hard seltzers and beverages to third parties for sale in the U.S.,
so it is unclear when the canned cocktail will hit grocery store shelves. The business suggests additional RTD alternatives are coming.
"We keep customers at the center of everything we do in growing our portfolio," said Coca-Cola President and CEO.
Coca-Cola and Corona brewer Constellation Brands will debut "Fresca Mixed" later this year as part of its RTD expansion.
The brand's newly announced RTDs include Topo Chico Hard Seltzer drinks and Simply Spiked Lemonade, produced with MolsonCoors.
Coca-Cola's interest in packaged cocktails is unsurprising. The U.S. Distilled Spirits Council claimed that premixed cocktails were the fastest-growing spirits sector in 2021.
Not only in grocery alcohol aisles, Coca-Cola has changed this year. After 25 years, Sprite rebranded and discontinued Honest Tea.
