Coca-Cola has made different kinds of Sprite, like "Lymonade." This famous taste will be brought back by the business.
The Instagram post said, "Sprite has made a Strawberries Lymonade that is coming out soon and is called Sprite Lymonade Legacy right now."
The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) expo last fall showed that the taste has changed a little.
There will be a limited-time strawberry Sprite Lymonade. Since NACS, the package says "Celebrating 50 years of Hip-Hop" and is called Lymonade Legacy.
It looks like it comes in 12-packs of cans and 20-ounce bottles, but there doesn't seem to be a low-sugar choice, which is sad.
Behind Coke and Pepsi, Sprite has always been the third most expensive drink brand.
"Demand for lemon-lime drinks has never been higher, and growth in the category has sped up since 2019," the company said in a news release about never beverages.
Coca-Cola has sold more Sprite, not other drinks that compete with it. Starry could make that different for Pepsi.
"At PepsiCo, we are very focused on consumer-centered innovation, and we know there is a huge market for lemon lime soda and that the category is growing," said the CMO.
PepsiCo thinks that this new drink will bring in more young users.
