As the weather warms up, nothing beats a flame-grilled, smoky BBQ burger.
Burger King, famed for its free fries and airdropping 65,000 whoppers in Times Square, has released two new exclusive burgers in the U.K. for summer, one of which is free.
Download the Burger King app and apply the unique "BOGOF" code by Friday, to get your free burger.
Beef and chicken burgers are available. American cheese, white onions, grilled onions, lettuce, and a sweet and tangy BBQ sauce top the Californian BBQ King,
a beef burger with the same patty as the Whopper. Adding a patty doubles it. The Californian BBQ Royale adds BBQ sauce, lettuce, cheese, and onions to the Chicken Royale for chicken lovers.
The UK and U.S. Burger King menus are similar, featuring stalwarts like the Whopper and Chicken Royale, but the UK has some distinct alternatives.
Burger King UK's Peppercorn Angus is "100% Angus Beef fire-grilled to perfection, topped with sizzling strips of Bacon as a Sweet Caramelized Onions, Fresh Rocket, which is and finished with our secret Peppercorn Mayo sauce."
Plant-based choices vary between countries. The UK's Plant-based Whopper is similar to the U.S.'s Impossible Whopper, which is cooked on the same broiler as meat.
The UK's plant-based menu includes a Vegan Royale, Vegan Nuggets, and a Plant-based Bakon King.
