Imagine walking into your Arby's job, opening the freezer to fetch some roast beef, and discovering a dead body. This was witnessed by one Arby's employee in New Iberia, Louisiana.
On Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., Arby's discovered the corpse of a restaurant manager. That seems like an interesting day.
As of this writing, neither the deceased nor the employee who discovered the body has been identified.
A coroner removed the woman's body to be identified and the manner of death established,
while New Iberia Police Department spokesperson Sargeant Daesha Hughes immediately termed the death "suspicious." This is a frightening workplace discovery.
"After completely analyzing the crime scene... this does not seem like a murder; instead, it seems like an accident,"
New Iberia police force Criminal Investigations Division Captain Leland Laseter stated of the "unusual" case of a dead corpse discovered in a Louisiana Arby's freezer.
The police findings from the night of the discovery are not final. Other Arby's employees were questioned by police at the crime scene.
Fans of Arby's shared photos of the frozen body on social media. "Well.." wrote Reddit. That's concerning." That's an understatement.
